Address the special needs of struggling readers—students with dyslexia, ADD, and other learning challenges—and English language learners with innovative, research-proven methods that move students quickly to reading success.

By providing immediate practice and success—the cornerstone of the F.A.S.T. Reading System—you’ll be able to shorten the learning curve for your struggling readers. More than 80 high interest, age-appropriate, leveled storybooks, coordinated to every concept, makes it easy for you to engage students and keep them reading.

In this hands-on training, you will learn how to:
Achieve significant gains in reading levels through a balanced approach of systematic phonics, directed reading and reading workshop, and whole language.
Teach the entire phonetic system using multimodality techniques.
Work more effectively with students with comprehension problems.
Make simple adaptations to meet the needs of English language learners.
Incorporate spelling instruction into your reading program.
Use motivational techniques to enhance student involvement.
Build reading skills and transfer those skills right away to real reading.
Instill confidence in struggling students as they experience success and become competent readers.
