Tales of Youth: Activities Workbook

Give your students extra practice in the reading and writing skills you are teaching with Tales of Youth: Activities. These activities, which correspond to the 26 titles of the Tales of Youth Series, can be effectively used as lesson extensions, sponge activities, independent seatwork, and homework. With four-to-six activities for every chapter of every book, you can teach a specific chapter in depth using all the activities or you can assign one or two activities, focusing on the specific skills your students need to practice. The Tales of Youth reproducible activities include tic-tac-toe, sentence scramble, picture spelling, writing, drawing, dictionary skills, and take-it-home activities that involve parents in their children’s learning.
